This moving element was inspired by the structural form of a snail shell. This design connects to my theme: shelter and comfort from the challenges of the environment by mimicking the delicacy but strength that a snail shell embodies.
FINAL:
Changed from draft- used the drape tool in sketchUp to inverse the pattern I created. This was to resolve the issue of 'floating' facades. Now it has structural integrity
