1. Used to elongate the railing open to the void. The 'merging' and gradual colours intend to create a sense of calmness and tranquility. Hence, relating back to my concept of tranquility.
2. This texture was used at the opening of the door way into the classrooms, the purpose of this as to direct and draw people into the classrooms. This texture was used for functional purposes. However, dots were used because they are less aggressive and instructional then arrows.
